Tobie Carter is a fiction writer of contemporary romance and suspense who will die on the hill saying that there was absolutely enough room on that plank for both of them. Plagued with an overactive imagination, she loves to spend her free time thinking up new stories that will speak to the heart of the reader and leave them with a story that lingers in the mind long after reading. Her stories are fast-paced, angsty, high heat, and feature relatable characters who refuse to settle for less than they deserve.

She lives in Central Texas with her husband and two young children. In her free time, she loves to play Mahjongg at the library, go on walks with her family, and cuddle up with a glass of wine and a good book. She believes there’s nothing better than a hot cup of Yorkshire tea, and that “As You Wish” is one of the best lines in film.
